A cold, wet evening on Market Street. Red reflections flood the rain soaked road while lanterns burn against the dark winter sky. Painted with heavy palette knife textures, Year of the Horse focuses on atmosphere as much as place. The silence after the rush, the pause at the traffic lights, the uncertainty of the figures in the distance.
